White on white

I decided to try something different and opted for a less colourful outfit last weekend. This white lace skirt from Sportsgirl is one of my favourites and I like how it pairs with a white shirt. Ended up being an outfit with a very resort-ish feel to it.
On the subject of resort, it's been getting colder and I am holding on to the last few weeks of sunshine before the full effects of autumn kicks in. Been going to the beach to take a break from work and study and the water has been amazing. I found some older pictures of my mini trips around Lancelin and the Pinnacles. Seaside colours are so beautiful and there is definitely something magical about sunsets.

Melbourne Photodiary

Tim and I went to Melbourne for the Grand Prix recently and we loved the place. Shopping was amazing and there was just so much to do there. Greedy little me wished I had another a suitcase for new outfits and a second belly for all the food I wanted to try. I took heaps of photos but because the weather was a bit gloomy on the first few days I left my dslr at the hotel and just used my phone. Consider this partly an Instagram post as well :)

Qantas giving a wing wave at the F1 crowd.

We decided to go all matchy matchy with his and hers McLaren tees <3

Also, I am very happy that I got a dress that was on my wish list for the longest time. It's the one by Mary Katranzou for Topshop which pretty much sold out within minutes after hitting the shops. I came across an online store that had a version of it called Style Me Darling (they stock amazing clothes check them out!). I am absolutely in love with the colour and detail of the print.

Shoes from Asos and sunnies from Ebay.

Pretty tea room in the Collins St Arcade.
 Terra Rossa on Flinders Lane.
Chin Chin Restaurant and Go Go Bar is one of the best restaurants we've been to. Our friends James and Kendall recommended we go there and so glad we did. It has huge menu and it took us quite a while to decide on food as everything looked great. Service is good and food even more amazing. Not a single disappointed bone in my body. Mind you the queue can be quite long (we went one night and it was just so packed we came back early the next day).

Be sure to try this if you go to Chin Chins. Coconut sago with sweetcorn ice cream, praline and puffed wild rice. It is the best!

Enjoying a lychee cocktail.
Another little gem on Flinders Lane. This meatball bar is so cosy and cute.

That's it for now. Have a good week people! xx

Lately

I've been meaning to update my blog for the longest time but somehow I always get distracted (Candy Crush is to blame). It's been four months since my last post and since then a lot has happened. For one, my hair is shorter. Missing the length as of late. Apart from that I've just been busy as usual. Me being me, I am never short of a photo or two (I have proof on Instagram!). Going past spring and summer has been a delight. Lazing around to Lana del Rey and taking shots of colourful scenery was always the perfect weekend activity.

Country Road ready.
I always thought mint goes well with leopard.

Photos were taken at around Perth, Margaret River, Fremantle and Rottnest Island.

I am also uber excited about the next entry I will post up on my mini trip to Melbourne! Until then, xx.
